Monday 1st April Berwick-upon-Tweed to Alnmouth

I love the Northumberland coast. So a treat to see places again. Not even the strong head wind could stop me enjoying the day. The sun helped, but the cold wind meant no lingering.
BUT it is April, and it is Spring, the leaves are appearing on trees, daffodils are everywhere, and new born lambs are in the fields.
John (my brother) and Christine were waiting for me in Seahouses, they had brought a picnic, very nice. (Ate it in their car out of the wind) I then continued cycling, visiting Craster on route. The air was pungent with the smell of smoking kippers.
John met up with me again here in Alnmouth having put Christine on the train north. We are staying at the sun Inn as is Tilly the dog.
